This interesting wooden wine or champagne bottle holder was crafted in France, circa 1920. The useful antique cabinet, made with old chestnut and pine timber, has fifteen inside slots for wine or champagne bottles and has a hinged top for convenience. The piece is also decorated with the Bordeaux wine estate "Chateau Petrus" printed on the front, which give the vintage piece an air of authenticity. This fun accessory is in excellent condition, has a rich patina, and would make a nice addition to your wet bar or wine cellar!
Château Pétrus is a Bordeaux, France, wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation near its eastern border to Saint-Émilion. A small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres), it produces a red wine entirely from Merlot grapes (since the end of 2010), and produces no second wine.
