FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING Swedish Silver Dated 1951 From our Silver collection we are delighted to offer this exceptional quality Swedish Solid Silver Cocktail Set by Swedish court jeweller Hugo Strömdahl. The set of stunning design features a central pitcher with long stem stirring spoon and ten flared rim solid silver cups. The set sits neatly on the original solid silver circular tray which has a ribbed edge design. The set is hallmarked Swedish solid silver by the maker Hugo Strömdahl and is dated 1951, a very impressive addition to any barware or silver collection. Measurements – Pitcher 18.2cm High x 11.5cm Wide x 10.5cm Deep – Cups 4.8cm High x 5.2cm Diameter – Tray 25cm Diameter Hugo Strömdahl (1880–1953) Court Jeweller of Sweden Hugo Strömdahl was a renowned Swedish goldsmith and court jeweller, born in Södermanland in 1880. Trained under John Pettersson and later in Berlin, he founded his own Stockholm workshop in 1905, producing fine jewellery distinguished by precision and elegant Scandinavian design. Appointed Court Jeweller in 1936, Strömdahl’s notable commissions included the Vasadia Demeter, a gift to Princess Märtha of Sweden in 1929. A respected teacher at the Institute of Crafts, he influenced a generation of Swedish artisans. His legacy continued through his son Åke Strömdahl, who succeeded him as Court Jeweller.
