About the Item
Christopher Dresser Style Decanter & Six Glasses with Removable Handles
From our Decanter collection, we are pleased to offer this stylish Art Deco style Decanter set by renowned firm Hukin & Heath. The set comprising of a single rounded decanter bottle with sterling silver mounts and six shot glasses also fitted with sterling silver mounts. Each piece is stamped by Hukin & Heath with registration number 450102. The Decanter with a large silver opening and thumb tab to allow pouring. The shot glasses are fitted with removable handles depending on the user’s personal preference and also making them ideal for cleaning.

Hukin & Heath, were important Silversmiths and electroplaters of Birmingham (1855-1953). Established by Jonathan Wilson Hukin and John Thomas Heath. They registered Birmingham marks in 1875 and London marks in 1879. The firm began working in conjunction with Dr. Christopher Dresser in 1877 and have some of their most notable designs have Dresser’s influence.
