A Saint Clément French Faïence, a majolica glazed plate showing overlapping asparagus spears, leaves and globe artichoke heads. A deep sauce well is also formed as an artichoke head. Glazed in lavender, and various shades of greens on a cream ground. The faience factory of Saint-Clement, located 12 kms from Lunéville, was established in 1758 by Jacques Chambrette.
