Storyteller: Mr. Anderson, a successful businessman, and his daughter, Lily, made their home in a stately rural manor. Over the years, Mr. Anderson amassed a collection of rare paintings and priceless vases, which he proudly displayed in his home. Mr. Anderson was perusing an antique shop one day when he stumbled upon a pair of gorgeous French opaline glass lusters. These goblet-shaped lusters were gilded in pink and white-hued glass and hand-made in France between 1850 and 1900. Mr. Anderson bought the lusters without hesitating and carried them home to add to his collection. The moment he set them on the mantel in the living room, they commanded everyone's attention. Pink and white opaline glass sparkled in the sunshine, creating a cozy atmosphere. Like a magnet, Lily was pulled to the lusters and stared at them in awe for hours. She was captivated by the way the light reflected off the glass and highlighted the fine features of the pattern. Seeing her interest, her father proceeded to educate her about the origins of opaline glass and the meaning of its lusters. They put their heads together and discovered that opaline glass was specially designed to create elaborate chandeliers...

Set of Tree Large Painted & Gilded Blue Opaline Glass Urns from 19th Century
By Johann Georg Meyer Von Bremen
Located in Queens Village, NY
A spectacular collection of three painted and gilded blue opaline glass urns was created in Germany between 1845 and 1855. These stunning pieces have exceptional oval-shaped designs that are both elegant and captivating. These exquisite urns are hand-painted with white enamel floral motifs and illustrate themes from Hessian peasant life. The paintings are carefully captured on panels that are perfectly screwed to the urns, adding to their unique and exquisite beauty. The centerpiece urn measures 60 cm × 28 cm and the pair of urns measures 53 cm x 29 cm, making them a stunning and imposing presence in any environment. The three urns are in excellent shape, with no chips or cracks detected, increasing their rarity and value. The sumptuous opaline glass is opaque and has a distinct blue tone, which is heightened by the carefully applied gilding, making this set a visual delight. This limited-edition set is a tribute to 19th-century German workmanship, and it is certain to bring a touch of refinement and sophistication to any collection or interior design project. Don't pass up the chance to possess these exceptional pieces of history. We are selling this beautiful set on different platforms, please check availability before purchasing.
