A Pewter Bezalel Dreidel made by Moshe Murro, Jerusalem 1929 Moshe Murro (1888-1957), was one of the greatest artists of Bezalel and Israeli art-designers. He set up an Amulet workshop to restore old ivory or stone amulets at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Dreidel is made of cast pewter, the creation of the artist Moshe Murro. The handle at the top is stylized and tapers down to a dome-shaped form on the upper part of the dreidel with the inscription "Nes Gadol Haya Sham" surrounded by a beaded pattern on a square flat surface. On the edges of the upper surface are the words Bezalel Jerusalem written in Hebrew and English. The upper square overhangs over the Dreidel's four recessed sides each of which have a different biblical motif relating to the festival of Hanukkah.
