Rock Crystal Sterling Silver

Pair of candlesticks with base and upper part in silver and stem in rock crystal. The two candlesticks were made by the same silversmith, Mario Poli - Milan - Italy but with two different types of animals and finishes. A candlestick has a smooth candle holder resting on a miniature rhinoceros and made with the casting technique and finished with a chisel. The rhinoceros is in turn placed on a smooth round plate in which a rock crystal stem is placed. The base, also in round and smooth sterling silver, takes up the style of the candle holder. cm.
