In ambient light, the piece reads as a ceramic object of structural study. A linen shade crowns the form, allowing illumination to radiate upward and outward while softly activating the ceramic base below. Rooted in contemporary design and architectural restraint, the vertically articulated form translates branching desert structure into sculptural illumination. Cactus Lamp 2 develops the structural language of the series through expanded rhythm and measured projection. Ceramic arms extend with deliberate spacing, creating balance between density and openness. The silhouette remains architectural — abstraction prioritized over representation. Illumination emerges from the exposed bulbs terminating each projection, allowing light to radiate outward and activate negative space. The luminous endpoints define the perimeter of the composition, reinforcing its dimensional structure while casting layered shadow.
