Inside the shade there is a metal ring that can be placed on the lampshade holder. On top of our shade is a loose cover made of the same material.
The height of the chamotte (texture clay) base of the lamp is 33 cm / 13 inch (excl. fitting and excl. lampshade holder). The lampshade holder is adjustable in height. The height of the lamp as shown on the first photo is 66 cm / 26 inch.

The artist has applied this notion to Craft product designs of dreamlike irrationality to treescapes manifested as two pendant lights, ‘Loop’ which depicts the slow passing of time and the melting from one hour to the next, one era into another, in the droopiness of the lamps.
