Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Grooved White Glaze Brass Details, Mid-century 1950s

About the Item

Vintage Danish ceramic table lamp with decorative grooved body. Made ca. 1950s. The lamp is unsigned but it could be either from the ceramic workshop Schollert or Eslau or in the style of these workshops. It features their classical grooved surface. It has a white glaze which is contrasted by some details in brass on top and around the neck. Included is a new lampshade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Measurements Height including lampshade (height can be adjusted): 59,5 cm (23.43") Height with socket: 44 cm (17.32") height without socket: 32 cm (12.60") Diameter lampbase: 11,7 cm (4.61") Diameter lampshade: 32 cm (12.60") Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.

    Rare Danish glazed ceramic lamp by Michael Andersen & Sons Danish, 1950s A stunning large white glazed ceramic Lamp by Michael Andersen & Sons. The lamp is bottle form in shape with, a ribbed surface and a tall smooth neck. Designed by Michael Andersen, Bornholm Keramiks in Denmark, circa 1950s, in a style reminiscent of Arne Bang.
