A remarkable authentic antique Christian church processional cross, dating to the early 20th century, 7-foot tall, two-piece, the large impressive crucifix designed to also be used as the principle altar cross.
Featuring a brilliant high-quality gilt bronze cross, finely cast and richly decorated, mounted with haloed crucified Christ figure, adorned with palmette tips, projecting winged angel, relief and floral ornamentation as well as an integral handle, accompanied with a fitted long patinated brass ringed staff with tapering rounded tip. circa 1900
