Folk art blue cabinet from the early 1800s. This antique corner cabinet is made in gustavian style in northern Sweden around 1830. Scraped to the original blue paint from the early 1800s with minor wear, marks and distress to the paint. Rounded front with one large door, carved ribbed decor. The interior is bare wood. The original lock from the early 1800s is still remaining but it’s not functional. Instead, some time during the 19th century a small wooden latch was installed on the left side of the door, see picture.
