Bench II by Donatas Zukauskas
By Donatas Žukauskas
Located in Geneve, CH
Bench II by Kasanai Dimensions: D 85 x W 32 x H 43 cm. Materials: Oak, cement, recycled paper, glue, paint. 7 kg. The visual inspiration for the bench is a combination of natural wood and concrete. These two opposite materials combined, create a unique character of the product that has the coldness of concrete and the coziness of wood. The tabletop is made of natural oak, and the base of the table, resembling concrete in appearance, is made by pouring solid mass. The set task was technologically challenging - it was necessary to fuse wet mass and moisture-sensitive wood. The entire structure of the table is manufactured at the same time, so that the two materials join together smoothly and precisely to avoid any gaps. After the product dries, it is scrubbed, and the tabletop is oiled. The black concrete-like material is the result of various experiments. It is a mixture of several components: an eco-friendly of cement, recycled paper, glue, and paint. Dried it becomes as strong as wood, it resembles concrete but is slightly elastic, so it does not split or crumble. The result is a natural texture and strength that ensures durability. The visual inspiration for the coffee table is a combination of natural wood and concrete. These two opposite materials combined, create a unique character of the product that has the coldness of concrete and the coziness of wood. Little Petra vb1 in Hallingdal 130 & Walnut by Viggo Boesen for &tradition
By Viggo Boesen
Located in Dubai, AE
Initially introduced back in 1938, Little Petra won instant praise at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition, subsequently winning awards at exhibits in New York and Berlin. It’s one of just a few designs by architect Viggo Boesen, who became associated with Denmark’s signature design aesthetic in the 1930s called funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly petite, able to fit into all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Low to the ground, open and embracing, it embodies the essence of a lounge chair, allowing for all kinds of seating positions in any cosy setting imaginable. Material and color: Hallingdal 130...

Unique harvest Graal blue and black glass vase by Tiina Sarapu, 2018 Dimensions: H 27 cm Materials: Glass Glass in my works signifies the world between opaque and translucent, visible and invisible, material and immaterial, real and unreal. It is a world of shady shapes, exciting and elusive. I studied glass art in Estonian Academy of Arts in 1990-1996. I have been working for the Department of Glass Art at the Estonian Academy of Arts as a teacher and technician, from 2003 to 2017 as an associate professor.
