About the Item

This spoke-back sofa is one of the most representative pieces in the collection of the master Danish designer Boe Mogensen, and was exhibited at the Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1945, a furniture exhibition that was essential to the development of Danish design. The fact that the sofa was exhibited at the joint booth with Hans j. Wegner, with whom it was closely associated, is a great added value for this sofa. The feeling of security that the body is enveloped and the ability to fold down the frame on one side to increase comfort, like a daybed, are the greatest features of this product. It is one of the leading products in the current Scandinavian vintage market, which is becoming rarer and rarer year by year. Please experience the design of the master Mogensen.
