About the Item

Unlike many of the great Danish designers, Frits Henningsen also ran his own cabinet-making shop. He cared deeply about quality of materials, and was uncompromising in the construction of his designs. As a result, his furniture is both built to last, and also a precise expression of the designer’s vision. This slender settee with its subtle curves has been fully restored. The fabric is an olive linen blend by Savel with a soft, sueded hand, and it is trimmed with cognac leather. We take pride in performing all but the most complex restoration in our own workshop, and sending items from our collection into the world ready to be lived with. We can also advise on reupholstery and refinishing to suit your interior. Inquire.
