High Back Lounge Chair by H.W. Klein for Bramin, Covered in Red Tonus Four Wool
Very rare and exciting swivel chair designed by H.W. Klein in 1964 for Bramin. The chair was first seen in in magazine adverts in 1964. It features a beautifully designed swivel base in polished aluminium. The chair can tilt both backwards but forward as well allowing the person seated to easily reach forward for his or her book or refreshments etc. The forward tilt also makes it very easy to get in and out of the chair as it counteracts the natural backward lean of the chair. HW Klein was well-known for his numerous designs of swivel chairs, however, this elegant edgy designed chair is a departure from his more traditional designs and bear more resemblance to Illum Wikkelso's coveted V11 chair...
