As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in these divine creations, Ralph Lauren furniture is the epitome of modern and traditional furniture design, is of peerless quality and finish, and exhibits detailing and execution of the highest standard. In a world of temporary pleasures, Ralph Lauren create beautiful furniture that remains a joy forever. This suite is in superb, impeccably-maintained condition, having seen light, irregular use in its previous home, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its hugely handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you would think normal when considering the nature and colour of this particular (deliberately) heavily-distressed and vintaged leather and wood-finish, it does possess a small number of barely-visible and largely-inconsequential marks to the table top, base and chairs as you might expect. For the avoidance of doubt, please view the numerous images provided to confirm the superb condition and appearance of this gem. Clearly not in perfect condition (it is not far-off though) but a true classic of modern furniture design presented in as-good and lightly-used condition as i suspect you are likely to find. Whilst it could not be considered pristine due to the reasons stated above, it is certain to meet the requirements of all but the true perfectionist and, for someone looking for a dining suite of peerless design and execution to position at the heart of their home, it is truly heaven sent! Dining room sets in Louis XV Style with a set of 6 chairs & a Louis XV Dining Room Table is designed by the renowned designer Paul Mathieu. He chose the name “Louise” when he created his more feminine version of Louis XV furniture and this Elegant Dining room sets. The characteristic cabriole leg, curving outward at the knee and inward towards the foot in an "S" shape was born during Louis XV period. It is during the same era that English furniture makers produced the Queen Anne and Chippendale styles. The dining room sets are inspired from the style of 18th-century French furniture which was guided by the court. When Louis XV, who reigned from 1715–74, focused royal life on the smaller salons of Versailles rather than its grand chambers, it transformed the aesthetics away from the imposing and angular furniture that characterised the style of Louis XIV. A broader focus on comfort and more delicate forms define antique Louis XV furniture dining room sets, with nature-inspired carvings, wood inlays, curved cabriole legs, asymmetrical shapes and rounded oval seat backs. The furnishings changed throughout the king’s life, as he ascended to the throne as a child and then grew to establish his own tastes. The style under Louis XVI would return to boxier forms, but with a neoclassical touch inspired by the ancient world. For the dining room sets the curved legs and side arms of this exceptionally elegant chair are hand carved from solid pieces of teak.
