This exceptional, fine and impressive Victorian brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with silver settings.
The bar is ornamented to the centre with a flower design, scalloped edged cluster.
A single collet set Old European round cut diamond is surrounded by six collet set fancy cut green tourmalines.
The tourmalines are then bordered by thirty six collet set Dutch cut diamonds.
The 18k yellow gold bar is ornamented with a further two collet set Dutch cut diamonds, and two collet set Old European round cut diamond terminals.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening, and the setting is struck with the hallmarks for 18k gold and silver (18CT&SILVER).
The brooch is fitted to a leatherette, satin and velvet lined presentation case of the period, bearing the retailer's name in the lid 'Watchmaker & Jeweller, F.C. Eldridge, bridge street, leatherhead'.
