A late Victorian demantoid garnet and diamond brooch, the naturalistically modelled lizard encrusted with rose-cut diamonds and embellished to the spine with a row of nine graduated oval mixed-cut demantoid garnets, all silver set to a yellow gold mount, circa 1890, measuring approximately 6x1.9cm, gross weight 6.3 grams.
This antique brooch is in excellent condition. Unmarked, tested as 14ct gold and silver.
