This Georgian Clasp was handcrafted in the last quarter of the 18th century. These kind of clasps were used for bracelets and for necklaces. The clasp is made out of silver and set with flat cut square garnets. Two of the garnets are chipped. Under the original oval glass we see intricately woven hair.
