John Shekleton England Sterling Silver Fish Slice Skinner

Antique sterling silver fish slice skinner by John Shekleton of London, England, circa 1800. No monogram This large fish slice features six skinning teeth, a small cut-out pierced pattern on the blade and a rounded handle. Measures approx 11 1/2" long, 3 5/8" wide across blade to the end of the teeth. Weighs approx 137.6g, 88.5dwt Fully hallmarked with IS (John Skekleton maker's mark) lion (sterling) leopard (London hallmark) E (1800 date mark) King's head (duty mark) Very nice condition, with some slight surface scratches and light tarnish. Will be packaged securely and shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL041123/17KCS
