The overall wood of this chair is quite spectacular in that it seems to have the original rubbed finish which reveals the raw beauty of the wood and the patina flows beautifully into the wonderfully aged petit-point covering. This piece was part of a collection of a prominent Louisville family and spent a portion of its life in a stunning music conservatory as a piece of historic art beautifully positioned next to an antique baby grand piano.
