19th Century Cast Iron and Steel Revolving Clothing Rack/Rounder
About the Item
Imagine the stunning frocks that once hung on this rounder in a charming, warmly appointed woman’s shop during the late 1800’s. The original cream paint has the perfect amount of wear to add character to this already unique piece. With a cast iron base that’s ornately figured with borders and shell-like motifs, each leg has a double-wheeled caster that moves freely, a steel pole with the same paint and finish stands upright supporting the freely rotating rounder top. This piece would be a stunning retail piece in that unique boutique, or a great eclectic addition to a French boudoir or Victorian walk in closet!
