About the Item
These two Mahogany Antique Irish Chippendale replicas are nothing short of breathtaking. Those with discriminating taste will recognize that from the exceptional hand carved work covering the chairs' frames to the parchment scroll on the crest rail, these are indeed works of art in mahogany. The upholstery is a beautiful weave comprised of a palette of persimmon and salmon flame stitch patterns in half shell fan designs. Adding these two chairs to an existing set or using them in an entry hall or side room, would be the most pleasing choice one could make in decorating.

- Condition:Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Normal wear marks indicative of a piece this age. Wood is in wonderful condition. These were part of an old family estate in Louisville, Kentucky and well cared for. The upholstery is well cared for, but shows slight signs of aging.
