19th Century over Life-Size Marble Statue of Bacchus after Michelangelo
Located in Essex, MA
Mid-19th century over life-size carved marble statue of Michelangelo's "Bacchus". Grand Tour copy through the "Point To Point" method directly from the original keeping its masterful proportions and Fine details in an exact size to Michelangelo's work. We have never seen a 19th century copy of this Renaissance Masterpiece of this size and are quite fortunate to be responsible for its stewardship until purchase by a discerning collector The original "Bacchus" is a marble sculpture by the master, Michelangelo, created circa 1496 when the artist was 21. This statue was originally commissioned by Cardinal Raffaele Riario. However, it was rejected by him and eventually found its way to Jacopo Galli, Cardinal Riario’s banker and a friend of the sculptor, who purchased it in 1506. Some 66 years later it was bought for the Medici and transferred to the royal house in Florence, Italy. Currently it can be viewed at the Museo Nazionale del Bargello in Florence. It is one of just two sculptures surviving Michelangelo’s initial period in Rome, with the other being Pieta. The artwork: This somewhat oversized...

Counting Cows, Original Painting
Located in San Francisco, CA

Artist Comments
A spotted cow gazes outward as if watching a car pass by. Two red barns in the background glow orange in the bright sunlight. The blue summer sky with passing clouds adds to the serene rural setting.

About the Artist
Artist John Jaster paints in a style he describes as realistic impressions, capturing colorful views of his adventures across the Americas. "People always ask me how I get such deep brilliant colors," says John. "The answer is layers. Since acrylic paint dries mostly transparent, it requires multiple layers of paint to build up to a specific color. With the right lighting that depth of layering is like sunshine glistening through clear water." In college, John felt a pull towards computer science and pursued a career in software architecture. Although the two paths...

Vintage 1990’s 14k Yellow Gold Wide Cuff Bangle Bracelet
Located in Boston, MA
Exuding minimalist glamour, this vintage 14k yellow gold cuff bracelet from the 1990s makes a bold, contemporary statement. The bracelet takes the form of a substantial wide cuff that wraps regally around the wrist. With a substantial width of 0.88 inches (2.2 cm), the cuff has an undeniable presence and eye-catching appeal. Rendered in rich 14k yellow gold, the cuff showcases the eternal beauty of the warm, buttery precious metal. The minimalist design allows the natural radiance of the gold to take center stage. The outer surface has a bright polished finish that catches the light beautifully, while the interior side has a satin brushed finish for a subtle contrast in textures. Despite its striking, oversized width, the cuff remains comfortable to wear thanks to the hollow, open design on the back side. This ingenious construction allows the cuff to have an impressive weight of 35.14 grams without feeling heavy or cumbersome on the wrist. With an open design that slips over the wrist, the circumference is 7” which fits most wrists. Perfect for day or night, this iconic 1990s piece epitomizes understated luxury with its timeless combination of 14k gold and a chic, minimalist aesthetic. A bonafide statement maker, this wide cuff bangle...
