The surface of this antique tankard is embellished with impressive partial gilt chased scrolling decoration accented with central fruit and floral sprays in addition to undulating leaf designs, all on a matte background. The upper rim of this lady's tankard is encompassed with an applied moulded border. This rare silver tankard retains the original domed cover encircled with further chased scrolling ornamentation, reflecting that of the body and features a cast figural thumbpiece. This exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver condiment set consists of a mustard pot and two condiment shakers. The shakers have a circular rounded form to a circular pedestal foot and the mustard pot has an oval form onto four bun style feet. The surface of each component is encircled with impressive pierced decoration, comprising interlacing arch and oval designs accented with circular motifs. The upper and lower portion of the mustard pot is further embellished with a gadroon decorated border, and the posterior surface bears a shaped sterling silver handle. The exceptional mustard pot is fitted with the original domed hinged cover, surmounted with baluster shaped finial.
