This exceptional antique Victorian English sterling silver condiment set consists of a mustard pot and two condiment shakers. The shakers have a circular rounded form to a circular pedestal foot and the mustard pot has an oval form onto four bun style feet. The surface of each component is encircled with impressive pierced decoration, comprising interlacing arch and oval designs accented with circular motifs. The upper and lower portion of the mustard pot is further embellished with a gadroon decorated border, and the posterior surface bears a shaped sterling silver handle. The exceptional mustard pot is fitted with the original domed hinged cover, surmounted with baluster shaped finial. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver bon bon dish has an oval shaped form onto a pedestal and oval spreading foot. The body of the dish is embellished with embossed fluted ornamentation accented with a central scroll and leaf decorated motif to the centre of the well. The undulating rim of the dish is encompassed with embossed decoration in addition to pierced simplified foliate designs. The pedestal is embellished with further embossed alternating fluted decoration with a plain rim. The underside of the dish bears the registration number 'Rd 163770.' Condition This antique dish is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. There are some fire marks to the well of the dish, in keeping with age.
