No, the Cartier screwdriver is not real gold. Although the accessory has since been updated to lock and unlock on its own, the original Cartier Love bracelet came with a gold-vermeil screwdriver. The screwdriver paired with new versions of the iconic Cartier Love bracelet is plated with the metal that matches the accompanying bracelet.
