Part of small group of drawings of the male nude, done late in the artist's life, many of which are in museums (MMA, FAMSF, Whitney, Yale, Princeton). Almost identical to the Lachaise drawing in the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, which is the same size and depicts the same model.
