"Sudden Gust" is a beautiful luminous large abstract painting by Nancy Eckels. It exhibits the bold colors and textures that her work is known for. Using sculptural texture with beautiful ocean blues, contrasted with flowing textures of teal, aqua and white highlights, this painting creates both a peaceful and dynamic mood. Nancy became a full time artist only after ending another creative career.  She moved to California to attend college, and happily worked in television for many years. She was a director on the CBS daytime drama, "The Bold and the Beautiful" when she decided to move on to full time painting. Given her family background, it seemed like the most natural transition she could make.  Nancy was born in Kingston, New York, but moved to Utah at age 7 when her father was transferred for his work. With her family, she spent her summers exploring many of the national parks, and natural wonders of the west where her father loved to fish and photograph. He instilled in her a love and appreciation for the beauty and colors of nature, while her mother taught her many of the lessons of art. Nancy gained quite an art education through "osmosis" while being around talented family members. Artist Terri Bell presents an abstract arrangement of detailed geometric forms. She paints soothing colors and patterns atop a rich mahogany-colored background. Circles and squares dance inside a loose grid. "This piece reminds me of those nights when I stay out late after a great evening, and all of the colors of the city seem to settle in," shares Terri.

About the Artist
Artist Terri Bell constructs highly detailed geometric fields that dance to life with engaging colors and soft edges. As a young child, Terri always wanted to paint, draw, or play imaginative games. She entered college as an art major and received important mentorship from several teachers. Unfortunately, it was at this point that Terri’s art career was put on hold. "I had to make a couple of detours along the way, and ended up changing my major to political science," she says, "which led me to work in a high stress, high profile state government position." Terri’s creative pursuits were more limited but ever-present. "Art was the balance in my life and I never gave up my dream." Through hard work and determination, she has returned to her calling as a full-time career artist. When she’s not painting, Terri enjoys cooking, container gardening, and spending time with her husband and two Yorkies.

Artist Terri Bell often works with defined grids in her paintings. In this creation, Terri allows square and organic spaces to float freely toward the bottom of the composition and outside of the grid lines. The result is an interconnected framework that is unified by linear patterns, textures, and related colors. Part of Terri's ongoing Geometria series.

This a very intense and dynamic triptych of lenticular prints that creates a rotating effect on an axe as you walk pass it. Francois Wunschel's work is about light, geometry, movements and most generally about perception of space and volume. His body of work includes immersive performances using new technology and most specifically video mapping projection, stereoscopic renderings and lenticular prints. François Wunschel is a French artist born in Strasbourg in 1978, currently living in Paris (FR). He graduated in architecture and urbanism, and became a founding member of the EXYZT group, whom was commissioned to design and build an installation for the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2006.
