Art Subject: Dinosaur
Water Wings
Located in Chicago, IL
Size: 18" X 24" Image size: 15" X 20" Archival paper and archival ink Edition size: 10 Signed and numbered in pencil by the artist Print is sold matted in a 2.5" - 3" mat RICK GARCIA BIOGRAPHY; Photography has been part of my creativity throughout my life and more recently has become influential in my abstract work on canvas. The magical shapes of water gracefully floating or scattering in mid-air reveals the true god-like essence of nature. I am fascinated studying these images of bright tiny mercury-like globes, silky trails, dancing droplets and crystal clear languid sheets. Rick Garcia was born in Havana, Cuba, and very soon after, his parents relocated to Miami, Florida. He was always encouraged to follow his dream of pursuing and developing his talent in art. In later years he found a deep-rooted connection to surrealism, especially the work of Salvador Dali. Garcia had become obsessed with the unique images and amazing technique of the Spanish painter and he eventually traveled to Port Lligat, Spain to visit the home and surroundings of his mentor. After years of attending the Art Institute of Miami, where he refined his artistic vision in drawing and painting, he was soon earning an income from published illustrations. Garcia has enjoyed a rich and diverse career starting with the hit TV show "Miami Vice" commissioning him to create a mural on the side of a three story building, and used his paintings for interior shots. Apart from a growing number of private commissions, his distinctive images were commissioned by The United Nations Postal Administration in 1998 and 2003. His stamps brought awareness to the growing extinction of the rainforest and its inhabitants, and followed with the 50th Anniversary of the World Health Organization, bringing awareness to the vanishing supply of freshwater, where it earned him the prestige of the most beautiful stamp series of 2003. Garcia was chosen as an "Absolut Artist of the 90s" in the popular vodka ad campaign and with his second piece Absolut Electric, this further drew worldwide attention. 1998, 1999, and 2001 garnered him the distinction of official artist to The Grammy Awards where his creations influenced the look of the live broadcast and graced the covers of the official program book, CDs, posters, apparel, and other various items. His work included portraits of stars such as Destiny's Child, Ricky Martin, Coldplay, Santana, Celia Cruz...

"Taming The Beast N1" Photography 30x40in Ed 2/10 by Viktorija Pashuta 2017 Ready to hang Latvian born Viktorija Pashuta is internationally published and award winning fashion and art photographer gaining momentum and notoriety in Southern California. With visual cues rooted in dance and music, and fashion passion stemming from her European upbringing, her images are sensual, sultry, yet powerful. Viktorija’s work is known for so called ‘color therapy’ – where she uses saturated and vibrant colors to achieve the effect of fashion surrealism. Her images are very feminine and empowering at the same time to celebrate the essence of a woman. Her work has been published in such magazines as RUNWAY (USA), GQ, Esquire, VISION (China), Prestige International (France), Essence (USA), Estetica (USA), Nylon Guys, Vogue (Italia), Tchad (Canada), Fashizblack (France), Highlights (UK), CULTURE (Australia), shooting celebrity covers for Healthy Living Magazine, Runway, Orlando Style, Justine and more. Cheval
Located in Atlanta, GA
Born in Melun in 1957, Jager is a French sculptor and painter. Passionate about equitation, he is famous for making representations of horses in plaster and bronze in all their forms. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Dijon and is currently living in France. Rather than just being an artist, he describes himself as a dreamer: unpredictable and passionate. For Frédéric JAGER, beauty is a must. His style, classic, figurative, is stunning in this world of contemporary art. Bringing bronze to life, his works always capture the energy and beauty of the horse “Because unlike men, a horse is always beautiful, always strong, always sad.” Several large companies, such as HERMES, NINA RICCI, goldsmith MELLERIO, CHEVIGNON, SOCIETE GENERALE, HORSE WOOD, watches PEQUIGNET, SWEATERIE, have called upon him for sculptures, decorative objects, advertising works, or trophies for the races. He has had numerous solo exhibitions, and has also participated in a myraid of art fairs such as the ‘Salon International de Saumur’, the Animal Sculpture Biennale of Rambouillet, the Derby Horse in Art...

Native American in Canoe
Located in Missouri, MO
Carl Kauba (1865-1922) "Native American in Canoe" Polychrome Bronze Signed approx 5.5 x 10 x 2.75 inches This Austrian sculptor was born in Vienna in 1865. His teachers were Karl Waschmann (1848-1905), known for his ivory sculptures and portrait plaquettes of contemporary celebrities, and Stefan Schwartz (1851-1924), who exhibited in Paris, including the Exposition Universelle of 1900 where he won a gold medal. Kauba's intricate bronzes, imported to the United States between 1895 and 1912, were cast at the Roman Bronze Works. Kauba was part of the nineteenth-century tradition of polychrome bronze sculpture. There were several types of patinas on a single statue: he could render the color of buckskin, variously tinted shirts, blankets, feathers, as well as beaded moccasins. Reportedly, Kauba came to America around 1886. Inspired by the Western tales of German author Karl May, he traveled to the West and made sketches and models. Critics, however, pointed out inaccuracies of costume and other details. For instance, the guns that his "mid-nineteenth-century" figures use are models produced after 1898. Apparently he did all of his works back in Vienna. Besides the variety of color, Kauba's bronzes show a great range of textures and his style is highly naturalistic. The sculptor loved ornament, some of which he rendered with coiled wire for reins, rope and feathers in headdresses. He successfully rendered figures in motion and often executed compositions with more than one figure. Berman (1974) illustrates non-Western subjects by Kaula, such as the pendants Where? and There (ca. 1910), a seated Scottish couple, impressive in the expressions and the details on patterned fabrics of both sitters. Another genre piece is Buster Brown...
