Antique Brass Tacks

English military leather chest with original brass mounts, braided tacks, and brass side handles.

The construction is of solid mahogany with decorative brass string and tack inlays. The seat frame is fitted with an upholstered boxed slip seat.

A reupholstered Italian oil-tanned leather covers the seat, trimmed in a running line of brass round-head tacks. Pull it up to a desk or set it at the head of a table.
