Antique Rudolph

Upon the death of Ferdinand Rudolph Hassler, Bache was appointed Superintendent of the United States Coast Survey.

It is also one of the most interesting and valuable works by Rudolph Ackermann (1764 – 1834) who is credited with establishing art lithography in England.
