Tribut der Salome is a colored cliché from watercolor on cream-colored cardboard realized by Choisy Le Conin, as is remembered Franz Von Bayros (Agram, 1866 – Vienna, 1924). From Mappe, a portfolio of 50 original prints (héliogravure or cliché from watercolors, of which 14 are colored) made around 1921 by Choisy Le Conin, with a preface of von Rudolph Hans Bartsch. Published by Ed. Strache, Wien, Prag, Leipzig, this is the specimen n. 285 on a total circulation of 500 prints. Ours is the most complete original edition. In excellent conditions, except for a little rip on the lower left margin. this defect does not affect the image. With a protective tissue with the title of the subject. This original print, representing a mythological scene, demonstrates the masterful draftsmanship of Choisy Le Conin. This object is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any object in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the licence according to the final destination of the artwork.
