Birds Eye View

He documents his subjects on video through birds-eye views, translating their details with oil paint using an approach he describes as Pixel Impressionism.

From 1572 to 1617, he edited the "Civitates orbis terrarum", which contains 546 prospects, bird's-eye views and maps of cities from all around the world.
