Located in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Titled "Of Offering and of Signs," this abstract expressionist painting is the creation of Annie Tremsal, rendered using oiled ocher on canvas. The artwork is stretched onto a wooden frame and remains unframed. Annie Tremsal is an expressionist painter whose art is characterized by a profound creative liberty, evident not only in the visual imagery of her pieces but also in the diverse range of media she employs, such as steel, Chinese paper, canvas, fabric, and wood. As a faithful inheritor of the traditional techniques of the great masters, Annie Tremsal formulates her own mediums using components like oil, binders, pigments, oxide powders, fine marble powder, and a rich array of fine ocher powders sourced from naturally occurring minerals...
