A three cushion sofa designed by Bruce Hannah and Andrew Morrison for Knoll International. Part of the Morrison-Hannah collection (released in 1973 and winner of an Industrial Design Award). The Mid-Century Modern sofa is supported by a brown enameled extruded aluminium frame and features red wool upholstery, a color combination that is as timeless as the design.
It has a simple sling design by which the cushions are hung from the frame, providing a floating effect that is both comfortable and a joy to look at. (Plus, kids can pull the cushions up and make a fort out of the sofa without any damage to the piece!) Plus, with a single allen wrench, the sofa can be disassembled and carried by a single person.
