This exceptional antique George VI cast sterling silver candelabra and candlestick set have an octagonal form to a knopped column, in the classic English 18th century, George I style. The impressive three-light candelabrum retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit knopped scrolling arms. The branches (labra) support three panelled capitals, each encompassed with bands of applied moulded decoration. The capitals each surmount an impressive octagonal drip pan, featuring identical ornamentation to that of the sconces.
