The body of the mug is embellished with fine and impressive later chased fruiting vine decoration accented with grape clusters and incorporating a stylised leaf and scroll bordered cartouche. The cartouche bears the engraved presentation inscription '˜Won at the Swansea Regatta, 1st July 1830, by Sir H.Vivians Yacht The Paul Pry of 23 tons beating the Peterell of 29 Tons.
