This channel-tufted leather love seat retains its original supple leather upholstery in an intriguing deep burgundy-brown color, almost like dark-cognac with beautiful lightly aged leather patina. Supremely elegant and super rare coffee table by Milan architect Lorenzo Forges Davanzati, produced by ELAM,Italy in1961. This design was produced in two sizes this is the larger and rarer variant of an already extremely rare design. The table is made of enameled wood with a decorative stainless steel insert to the pedestal. This table is very seldom seen and was published in Casa Vogue,Domus and the italian design bible "repertorio 1950-80". The table has some minor losses to the original lacquer which can easily be touched in and refinished to blend in with the original lacquer.
