Contemporary mixed-media painter Lori Mirabelli depicts an abstract composition which evokes the mysticism and enjoyment of dancing waves. The artist applies layers of abstract sweeps of paint work which is highly gestural and expressive, creating a joyful ocean ambience. This mark making is juxtaposed with illustrative line work and symbolic details which tie everything together with harmonious lyricism. The artist applies a palette of blue tones which fill the canvas in the form of square layers and are accented with orange details. This artwork is composed in a way that gives a sense of liberation and space. This piece is painted on stretched canvas, hand signed by the artist and ready to be displayed.
