Andrea Lucatello , industrial designer, lives and works in Treviso. From a very young age he has carried out a varied and intense professional activity, forming his experience, creativity and knowledge of processing techniques, in particular of composite materials, in the field of furnishing and nautical design. This low coffee and side-table comes with a base and top in Canaletto walnut, natural ash, ash stained black, intense blue or anthracite. The structure's body is made out of blown Murano glass, available in amber, blue-grey or smoke grey. Here you are shown the Mastea coffee table in the Canaletto walnut base finish and in the low size.
Matteo Zorzenoni started to experiment with Murano glass in the 1970s and, even if the generations have changed, the glass is blown as it once was: it needs a master glassblower and two strong lungs. Working with this material every day is like revisiting a traditional dish. The ingredients are the same but there is something new in the taste.
Matteo Zorzenoni's research is mainly focused on materials and their limits, aimed at discovering their potential. His projects have been exhibited at: Maxxi Museum in Rome, the Biennale of Art and Design in St. Etienne, the London Design Festival, the Venice Biennale. Giorgio Biscaro was born in 1978 in Vercelli, and graduated in Industrial Design at IUAV University of Venice with a dissertation about LED lamps. After graduating he was hired by Foscarini, a relationship that will last for a long time. Subsequently, he worked with Imago Studio for Mizar, Doimo Group, Birex and other design brands. With Prof. Luitprandi he teached @ Politecnico di Milano, and worked with Nuovostudio to the development of “Città d’acqua” pavilion at the Venice Biennale. From 2004 to 2006 is art director at Disenia, bathroom furnishings. In 2007 he established his own studio in Treviso, working with Slide and with Bosa among the others. In 2008 he came back to Foscarini as a member of the just established R&D department, as Senior Designer. Extendible table with metal base varnished white, silk grey, dusty grey, black and intense blue. The central column is available in ash or black ash. The top is available in flamed oak, heat-treated oak, canaletto walnut, black ash, Fenix with wooden edges or vintage oak.
Born in 1980 in Verona. Graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano. After a three years collaboration with Ludovica+Roberto Palomba in Milan, in 2007 he setup his own studio in Verona where he collaborates with other professionals in architecture, communication and graphics.
