Painted with palette knives. The color tones I have used in this painting are muted & reflective of a toned down/softened appeal for the eye . I have used Skin Tone, White, Cream, Silver, Peach, Yellow and Orange. My main focus was using Orange and Peach and blending both. I have touches of Gold and Dark Brown as well. I have used several layers of primer before adding my main colored layers. I have left open some of the under layers to give perspective and character. There are small details that are hard to pick up with my photographs. The painting can be hung 4 different directions-so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1. ***PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. June 2023 "Abstract Environment" Unframed-Ready to hang / 12 x 24 x 1.5 Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Sides will be painted to match the painting. (8 layers) I have created some texturing within sections of the painting. Painted with palette knives. The painting's focus-as with many of my paintings are on the center. And, in this case Orange being the center point. There are additional shades of Bright Aqua Green, Gold, Ochre, Light Blue, Skin Tone, Wine Red, Green, and Orange Yellow with bold palette knife applications and then I have created Lines and a small box and a oblong configured line to create a bit of character. My idea with this canvas once I was obtaining my concept was a feeling of moods of Light in the Environment. There are small details in the painting that are hard to pick up with my photographs. I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The 3 top layers I have created give character with the cracks and crevices with the colors below the top layer. I have used Gold, Orange, Copper, Green, Bright Aqua Green, Red, Gold, and touches of Dark Blue in my palette for this unique painting. The roughness/texture and lines I have placed on the painting give more character to this Abstract I have created on this canvas. I have created another organic Primitive Painting that is represented on this Gallery Wrapped Canvas. I draw on an Asian & Middle Eastern influence as well a Prehistoric aspect with this painting.
