June 2023 / Abstract Acrylic Painting / Heavily Textured (14 Layers) / 12 x 16 x 1.5 on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Sides will be painted to match the painting. I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The 3 top layers I have created give character with the cracks and crevices with the colors below the top layer. I have used Gold, Orange, Copper, Green, Bright Aqua Green, Red, Gold, and touches of Dark Blue in my palette for this unique painting. The roughness/texture and lines I have placed on the painting give more character to this Abstract I have created on this canvas. I have created another organic Primitive Painting that is represented on this Gallery Wrapped Canvas. I draw on an Asian & Middle Eastern influence as well a Prehistoric aspect with this painting. I have painted this Abstract with a loose feeling while blending with my palette knives. I have placed felt pads on the 4 corners of the backside to protect the wall. And, so you are able to place the painting in 4 different ways. Golden Professional Archival Gloss Varnish Spray has been applied to protect the painting. Certificate of Authenticity included 1/1. Jan. 2021 (Unframed) Textured Abstract Acrylic Painting. Use of Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas 12 x 12 x 1.5. (9 Layers) I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. I like using palette knives to blend the colors & patterns. I have been able to create several layers to show through in this small painting. I have several colors I have used for this Abstract Painting. There is one shade of Dark Blue & one shade of Teal which shape the painting appearance. I have highlighted the painting with primitive markings/lines using Gold, Deep Orange, Lime, and a minimum amount of White. I have created and focused on a abstract frame in the center using Gold and creating 4 Orange Boxes to be the focal point for the painting and the Viewers eye. I have used my palette knives to create this painting. There are 2 Vertical hangings on the backside and 2 Horizontal hangings on the backside. Felt pads on 4 corners to protect the wall. (6 Primer Layers & 4 Main Layers applied) I like building my canvases with layers of paint with my palette knives. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The top layer has several bold unique patterns I have created. I have added character and texture and a feeling of depth for the canvas piece having 3 other layers underneath the top layer which peers through in sections.
