About the Item
I am interested in emergent patterns—patterns that arise unexpectedly as a result of many small units or actions acting independently. I dipped a typeface letter "o" in acrylic paint and stamped it hundreds of times on the panel. I then painted over the stamps with a wash of paint, and repeated the process over several iterations. My intent is to create simple but elusive paintings that beckon a hectic world to slow down, pause, and reflect. *The edges of the canvas are painted, so no frame is necessary. *Ships ready to hang to continental US and Canada.
