Sally Gall Prints and Multiples

American, b. 1956
Sally Gall has spent her career exploring the intricacies of the natural world in delicate black-and-white photos of dew on spider webs, reflections on water, formal gardens, insects, caverns, and the subterranean world. Using a square-format Diana or Hasselblad camera, she creates abstractions of familiar subjects, showing nature at once as immense and intimate, nurturing and overwhelming, often shooting at dawn, dusk and other transitional moments. Gall obtained a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows and has been the recipient of many fellowships and grants. Her work may be found in The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Cleveland Museum of Art, The High Museum in Atlanta, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Biblioteque Nationale in Paris, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and numerous other museums and private collections.

California Dreaming - large scale photograph of iconic desert landscape

By Frank Schott

Located in San Francisco, CA

California Dreaming by Frank Schott from a series of photographs capturing the Golden State's vast desert landscapes of the Sierra Nevada 48 x 72 inches / 122cm x 183m edition of 7 signed 27 x 40 inches / 68cm x 102cm edition of 25 signed archival quality fine art pigment print limited art edition published by Edition EKTAlux artist signed + numbered certificate of authenticity ________________________ Frank Schott grew up in Germany and attended the prestigious Academy of Arts in Cologne, studying under Professor Arno Jansen, who was an early influence. Moving to California in 1998, Schott's work has evolved to include the epic landscapes and deserts of the American West as well as architectural, conceptual and more formal environments from both home and his travels. Influenced by a number of photographic peers and precursors such as Candida Höfer, Andreas Gursky, Thomas Struth, Jeff Wall, Michael Wolf, Gregory Crewdson, William Eggleston and Joel Sternfeld, Schott's images successfully blend technical, conceptual and formal rigor with a decisive sense of composition and color. Schott's images have an iconic sensibility and give us a bird's eye view onto humanity and its constructs. The specific is edged towards the abstract, often revealing the compelling and disjunctive moment where nature meets man. Frank Schott was born in Cologne, Germany in 1962. He currently lives and works in San Francisco...

Burnt Place Twilight's Path Forest by Night Fine Art Print

By Jasper Goodall

Located in London, GB

"Burnt Place" - After the fire swept through, the forest was left scorched and barren. The ground is still warm and the unstirring air is thick with the scent of charred wood. Scorched, lifeless pines stand solemn and mournful in the shadows of the Burnt Place. About the Twilight's Path project: "We spend our lives surrounded by the security of possessions, relationships and roles, but our futures hold nothing so substantial; one day we must all enter into true not- knowing - into a dark, unconscious place." Jasper Goodall...
