Midtown Manhattan from Central Park Reservoir

Artist Commentary: As a child I never spent much time exploring central park. It has now become one of my favorite places to spend time while in New York. On this evening I was visiting a friend and casually strolling the path circling the reservoir. We slowly started to realize that there was a lot of action in the sky and that we might be in for a colorful sunset. This resulted in a mad dash to the north eastern corner of the reservoir to be in the correct spot to catch sunrise and the buildings. Luckily we made it in time to catch the amazing colors.
