This magnificent antique Indian Colonial silver salver has a circular shaped form onto three bracket style feet. The surface of this antique silver salver is embellished with a broad, flat engraved floral, scrolling leaf and opposing scroll decorated border. The decoration to the surface incorporates a central contemporary engraved presentation inscription 'Presented to Capt H.A. Thompson 50th Reg M.N.P. By Colonel Green and his Brother Officers, in acknowledgement of his unremitted EXERTOONS as Mess Secretary for a period of nearly six years during the whole of which times his Conciliatory and Obliging demeanours have so essentially contributed to the HARMONY and well being of the Regimental Mess, December 1842'. The rim of this magnificent sterling silver salver is embellished with a fine and impressive fruiting vine decorated border, accented with large leaf designs and grape clusters. The salver is supported by three cast scroll decorated bracket style feet. This magnificent salver is fitted to the original hinged oak wood presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior. The exterior surface of the box is fitted with brass mounts, in addition to a vacant cartouche to the cover; the mounts are a fine feature and indicate the high quality of the piece. This boxed Indian silver salver embodies fine craftsmanship and rich cultural heritage, making it an exceptional gift for weddings, anniversaries, retirements or corporate presentations. At home, it lends refinement and a sense of tradition when displayed on a sideboard, dining table or within a cabinet. Condition This antique silver salver is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The flat engraved and engraved decoration is all very crisp. This exceptional, fine and impressive silver wine and drinks set consists of six liqueur glasses and drinks tray. The Victorian silver liqueur glass each retain the original plain cylindrical clear glass body, with a detachable silver mount to the lower portion. The silver holder of each drinking vessel is embellished with embossed decoration depicting rural scenes incorporating figures gifting flowers and tending to sheep. Each scene is encompassed with impressive scrolling designs, creating an undulating shaped rim to the upper portion. The silver tray has a rectangular form with rounded corners; the surface of the tray is plain and unembellished. The rim of the tray is encompassed with an impressive applied gadroon decorated border accented with scrolling leaf designs to the corners. Either end of the tray features an impressive cast silver handle ornamented with reed decoration and an enveloping leaf design to the handpiece. This exceptional vintage George VI sterling silver three-piece condiment set consists of a salt, a pepper pot and a mustard pot. The pieces of this fine silver condiment set have a plain cylindrical tapering form onto a circular foot. The surface of each piece is embellished with concentric bands of tooled decoration, all in the iconic Art Deco style. The mustard pot is fitted with an angular handle with a plain upper plateau. The mustard pot retains the original hinged hallmarked domed cover, ornamented with tiered concentric circular decoration and surmounted with an Art Deco style tapering cylindrical finial. The pepper pot is fitted with a push fit cover with pierced 'pepper' holes. The salt and mustard pot are fitted with removable blue glass liners. This vintage silver condiment set is supplied with associate salt and mustard spoons. These fine examples of vintage silverware are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with two hinged catches.
