Victorian Honey Glazed Pottery Boot Pin Cushion

About the Item

An unusual and large Victorian, probably Staffordshire, honey glazed pottery boot pin cushion dating from the 19th century. The large boot is well potted capturing the folds and character of the leather with an open front with lace holes marked along the edge. The boot has its original velvet topped pin cushion which has been formed to look like part of the boot. The boot has a honey glazed finish with an unglazed sole and is not marked. In good condition presentable condition with a chip to the heel rim.
