This fine example of vintage teaware is fitted with the original carved wood C-shaped handle, in the iconic Design style, with a continuation of the arch to the plain silver sockets.
The coffee jug is supported by a plain circular swept foot.
NOTE: This piece has been crafted in the same institution known for educating the renowned silversmith Gerald Benney; he spent his early years studying at the Brighton Art College between 1946-1948. This antique 1930s silver teapot is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the foot and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.
