A striking and extremely elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Alabastro Fiorito Marble and ormolu lamp. The lamp is raised by an ormolu square base below the beautiful fluted spiral socle pedestal decorated with a wrap around berried laurel band. The striking Alabastro Fiorito body is encased by beautiful ormolu palmettes at the base and lovely scrolled handles, leading up each side, wrapped in richly chased charming swaging floral garlands. Above is a finely detailed ormolu top cap with exceptional floral designs in a rich satin and burnished finish. Displayed with our signature two tone pin tuck silk Cedric DuPont Antique shades.
